It would be a lot more exciting if they did some Star Wars series either in the distant past or post-TROS. At least there is the upcoming series "The Acolyte" which is set in the Old Republic era which should be somewhat fresh.

Because they're idiots and have no imagination. They have thousands of years to play with, but they're going to suck the life out of this small segment first.
 
I haven't watched this trailer but the thumbnail looks interesting. I will judge it by any responses and then watch it later.
