Moving away from afrihost any suggestion?

Sorry man wasn't deliberately ignoring it, I read your tutorial guide and its brilliant, and I read your posts and take note internally.

I moved to elitehost with a few sites to test.

My best advice, NEVER use digiserv.biz. Service is the worst, and product knowledge is even worse.
 
VPS with elitehost now never looked back.

Dedicated servers with Hetzner DE.

Definitely we needed a little more custom specifications for our server but they didn't quite had the package so they combined our package witn slightly higher specs but for the same price as the original so they upgraded our server for free.

I was really impressed and compared to afrihoax... Oh my gawd...

Elitehost for the win

elitehost is also now an optomized partner with cloudflare, and cloudflare is launching their JHB node this month. definitely a good idea to go with a host that not only supports you and responds within 15 minutes of any support request, but also strives to get your sites to perform better.

i believe they're launching their cloud stuff soon too ;)

I moved my first stuff over to them, they are great!!!

Beating Afrihoax by miles! Especially support. That's one area afrihost don't have.
 
How would one host a pingtest server, would you need a dedicated server? Who can offer this for a cheap price.


Having a JHB pingtest server would be great.

? there's multiple pingtest servers hosted by multiple ISP's in JHB, or am I thinking speedtest not pingtest?
 
Anyone know whats up with Afrihost hosting? Been working on a clients website this weekend but have been experiencing a lot of downtime (still down right now at this very post). There network notification page shows nothing regarding this issue. Just sucks...:mad:
