Moving away from uncapped mobile broadband

Where I live I have the option of Comcast or Quest. I have Comcast and the 250gb a month is correct and I used to hit that often with piratebay but I dont do that anymore in fear of being sued for alot of money. The 250MB and 2GB on ATT is specific to the iPad and will be for the iPhone too because of tethering being enabled in the 4.0 OS by ATT. I am still on the unlimited dataplan for the iPhone at $30 a month and I am debating if I should signup for the $30 unlimited dataplan for the iPad before it goes away on the 7th of June. I have the 3G iPad but between my house, work and the bus system I have wifi everywhere so I do not see the need. My iPhone data tracking shows that in December I used 248MB of data and its been declining since then and at the moment its around 20MB a month.

All this info might be useless but I am just posting cause I am at work now and bored.

And you point is? "Tethering" have been a standard feature on normal phones (just like multitasking on smartphones and MMSes (How long did it take the iPhone to get that?) on most phones) since GPRS have been invented.... If your country's mobile operators decide to break your phones (or use their own "standards"), it is understandable that a crippled phone that could still not do things (multitasking on iPhone OS < 4, run Java ME apps, etc) that a 2004 Nokia can is so popular...
