Can't believe MTN is actually "competing" against Vodacom for a change.

24 month contract :eek: aikona baba. Data prices are surely set to fall even further, wouldn't wanna be locked in month 14 on this deal, and new far cheaper deals become available. Keep it to 12 months and we have a plausible winner. Good to see all the providers coming to the party tho...Thanx to Cell C.
 
Would be great if the red & yellow teams could come up with some products of their own, rather than simply matching CellC's deals.

I agree with that completely. If someone thought, hey, won't it be great if we could offer the client 2GB for R100 a month. Then I'm sure everyone would have a lot less to think about. They are making it harder for us and for themselves to decide who to choose. C'mon guys, make a deal no one can resist
 
Good luck getting this deal. Phoned everywhere and no one has the modem in stock. They don't even know about the deal. I smell a CPA case coming......

Ive made a couple calls and organised one for you at the Northgate service centre, keep the yellow flag flying high friend!
 
Hehehhehee, thanks bud. Got one at Morningside Service centre. But they still havnt RICA'd me, so it sux. Cannot connect to internet as yet :(
 
Yeah damn, it's taking forever and its killing me to have to phone them the whole day :( Wish I could use it now to see how fast it is. Im super excited!!!! I hate waiting for things to happen
 
Im sorry but this piece of **** is not working. I can connect to the network and everything but I cannot go onto the internet. Now I must waste my time again and go to a service centre with my laptop (which by the way runs another MTN modem on it perfectly) so they can have a look at my laptop. How do I cancel this subscription. I will rather go with Vodacom or Cell C which I know works from day 1!!!!!
 
WARNING ABOUT NEW MTN R149 2GB "PROMOTION"

Do not, I repeat, DO NOT take this contract out!!! It is a complete rip-off. They do not have this package loaded on their system. And I have been struggling for 2 days. Phone calls up and down and no one seems to know anything about this 2GB promo. They loaded me on a 75MB contract. I cannot load any web pages. No one can help me. They just send me back and forth to the service centre. I am sick and tired of this, and if I cannot connect to the internet by tomorrow, I WILL BE CANCELLING this stupid contract and going to Cell C.......
