MTN 2GB Data @ R149 PM Promotion

How? Vc offer same but ob shorter contract and gives2 gig night iwl too?

Its better because VC has OOB rates that will kill u.... R1.20/mb thats insane. MTN's OOB rates are much more forgiving 0.19c/mb. So that is why MTN is better

there is an offer on the HTC flyer though that i just got confirmed at 12 month period, im keeping those mails just in case they wanna sue me lol...R299 pm on anytime 100 over 12 months and includes 150mb data.

Wow - insane offer. Where can we pick this up?

I wonder if they will ever drop prepaid bundle prices to these kind of levels, not going to sign a 24 month contract.

I did a speedtest now and here are the results....

I'm very happy overall. I think its decent speeds for 3G...

Hi, I still can't find anywhere to get this contract. Any help as to who has stock would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks guys.

PS: In JHB

Hi, I got mine at MTN Service Centre in Morningside. You will need to hurry though as it is only till the 16th of May 2011. The lady I contacted there is Amanda.. 083 212 7718.

Does anyone know if the huawei e367 than comes with this contract works with the tp-link mr3420?

why would you need a router over and above your modem?
I think many people are not aware of how useful a 3g connection with a router can be.
One can immediately set up a network either for home or work in a few minutes.
Plug in the modem to the router wait for the modem to connect and then set up network. One can connect numerous devices to this one internet connection.
via wifi- netbook, kodak pulse wifi enabled photo frame, ipod touch, ipad, wifi enabled cellphone
via lan - desktop computers, media centre, skype 3088 phone, webcams
These all work fine on a 384k adsl but even better on a 3g connection.
Just wish cell c would allow unrestricted apn so one can connect to the router and other devices behind the nat remotely.

ok, well i dont know much about this router, does it not have its own internet capabilities stand alone?
here is more info.

the planet one i find works really well. have not tested the others however.
the last one is mobile but one can only connect up to5 devices and has no lan.

Hello. I signed up for this promo last week Friday. When I query my balance via the MTN software it says only 1,29Gb available? Any idea why?

U are lucky, I only got 980MB. They say it's pro-rata, but I dunno how it could be pro-rata if I took it on the 5th of May 2011. Thats almost a whole month and I get less than half my cap

hmmm ... I wonder if they going to 'pro-rata' the monthly charge then. Sounds sneaky to me.

They should slice it down a bit, but u ALWAYS lose in ur first month. But lucky u..... :(

Funny, don't Cell C give you the first month basically free.
Why can't MTN and Voda match that?
