MTN 3G Data not working in Eldoraigne

Does anyone know why the MTN 3G is not working in the Eldoraigne area? A friend who stays there has the uncapped lite package and says he can only connect to / ping the 10.64.64.64 IP address? Hope that makes sense.
 
I have no connectivity on both EDGE and 3G in Sandton in my iPhone, and a colleague is also having problems.
 
I consistantly get 1/5 Edge reception for MTN in the Eldoraigne area - extremely poor coverage is the reason. Vdc is not much better: 2-3/5 Edge, but at least they have responded that they are "looking into a new base station" in the area, but unfortanately they cannot tell me if this will occur in the next 3 months or 3 years. have been forced to install Telkom instead :-(
 
Primrose Hill, Germiston.. can connect but no data...

My wifes 3G on her blackberry is messed up, we are in Marlboro gardens, switched to 2G and the phone works fine, otherwise with 3G selected it keeps getting stuck and gets very slow.

MTN is just getting very bad!
 
This issue has something to do with not being able to add the monthly data bundle allocation to 3G contracts, my mtn active profile does not show my bundle added as of 2012/10/10
 
I cant go into specifics but it has to do with the APN being down in some areas, busy working on rectifying the issue.

I've had similar problems in the past (0kbs download speeds) and endless complaining seems to fix the problem for a couple of weeks:erm:

Yes, it was me and so far I am still happy with the Uncapped Lite deal, it's only these last couple of days, well since Tuesday, that I've been having some issues... I still have high hopes though... Positive thinking!

The days that the product works as intended its brilliant, sadly the longer I've had it, the more "bad days/weeks" I've experienced, hope your experience doesn't turn out as bad as mine have been... I've given up on phoning them, i'll just download a torrent or 2 every other day, but it seems like its not so "uncapped" afterall, as soon as I get to about 6-10gb for the month its like this 0KB/s speeds conviently kick in. That being said, my first couple of months where problem free as well:cry:
