Mtn 3g/hsdpa. Where?!?!?!?!

VC has more subscribers, therefore more resources.
I'm sorry. This logic is just plain daft.
If anything, with MORE subscribers, it puts MORE strain on the infrastructure, i.e. MORE congestion / usage = less to go around.

I am pretty happy with my 3G / HSDPA. I am getting good speeds. I almost want to say peaking at 500kbps during busy times, albeit not consistently high.
I am getting good signal and speeds where Vodacom's 3G / HSDPA didn't even work properly or it was very unreliable.

I dont really care much for speed, as long as it is reliable and not the same speed as GPRS / EDGE (cause what would the point be???).

More subscribers = more income = more profit (if a good strategist is in the hot seat - let's call him Alan Knott Craig:) ) = more money to expand infrastructure. Now does this logic make sense to you Lildeath?:D

Indeed MTN needs to get their towers updated a bit quicker :D

Maybe I misread the group name for this forum: doesn't it say "Other Broadband Services"?

The reason I am confused is because I'm getting 5kB/s (>= -51 dBm) on GPRS, and 10KB/s (-101 dBm) on HSDPA  Information super highway here I come :p

yesterday i REAALLLLY felt that e-mail server upgrade! connection kept dropping every 2 minutes ( thats if i even got a connection), my phone would even use its wap connection, has to be the day i wanna use it the most:mad:

Ah biddy bah:rolleyes:

We should create a website called MTNconnectionSuck.co.za

I'm in Cape Town city centre..I only get 3G.
For the first time in almost a year, I understood what HSDPA was like.
I had to go outside of tonw to Tableview to get this.

why do we not have HSDPA in the Athlone Area?
