MTN Allowing WiFi Calling

Today I received a push USSD from MTN telling me WiFi calling is now enabled, just enable it in your phone settings.

However on my iPhone 11 the setting isn't there to enable Wifi calling, even after a network reset. Must be android only at the moment?

nothing at the moment, so it's seems to be Android only for the time being

Just updated to IOS 14.4 and still no option to enable it. I have seen on IOS forums that it might not just be an MTN thing.

Depends on your device. On mine, the Xaiomi Redmi 9C, you go into settings, SIM Cards & Mobile Networks. Tap on each sim (mine is a dual sim), then right at the bottom there is a option to turn Volte on and below that is the option to turn VoWiFi on. This will differ slightly from phone to phone and also depends on if your network supports your device and if the service is provisioned on your sim.

Eish can't help you there unfortunately don't know their menu but somewhere under network connections look for WiFi calling or vowifi.

So the feedback from MTN is that WiFi calling is not officially released...

But a MTN flyer from December touts MTN WiFi calling on the note 10 Lite, perhaps MyBB should get an official response on the launch and iPhone support?

I see that WiFi calling can not be used when travelling abroad. Only available for use in SA. However Cell C does allow this therefore making it possible to roam at local SA rates when on a WiFi network.
