Nothing on my P20, what device do you have?
I asked customer service to activate mine but still nothing. On a S9 with One UI 2.1. Are you on contract or prepaid? Also is your call and sms roaming active or not?Has anyone else suddenly noticed their MTN sims are enabled for WiFi calls? I thought MTN wasn't allowing this?

Also on prepaid with roaming turned off. I have tested on Supersonic and rain wifi. Zyxel and Huawei routers respectively. Vodacom wifi calling worked on both though. Guess they are activating in batches or something wrong on my side? Nothing in media about it eitherOkay so I've established - when I'm on VOX at home I've got Wi-Fi calling, on Cool Ideas only VoLTE...
Edit: On prepaid, One UI 2.0 and Android 10

How is your MTN signal at home? Trying to determine if they maybe only activate in certain locations where there is poor or no signal?Yeah I couldn't find any media articles about it, hence my surprise.
Back at home on Vox and again Wi-Fi calling is active - it wasn't available on Cool Ideas where I was earlier

I don't know much about Wi-Fi calling but I've seen the option in my phone settings.
Is the call free of MTN charges then? I'm assuming the call receiver must also be on Wi-Fi for it to work. Correct?

So what is the benefit to the user? No cost benefit it seems. No, basically instead of the call being facilitated through the cell towers, its processed through your own WiFi network - the carrier will need to have the relevant facilities on their network to allow this

Im glad that this feature is finally live.
