everytime an internet banking payment is made , the notice is sent to [email protected] with my cell number as the subject unless of course you have a more efficient procedure w.r.t this.

Okey, I read the posts up to this point. I have used that number myself as it was given to me to place an order. No one told me it was a free call so I excepted that since its not the 808 free call, I would be charged for it. Now why is this a difficult issue ? How much was that call ?not acceptable to me.
no-one ever communicated with me that 0831237667 is only for use by dealers and numerous questions to MTN staff at Century City and even to 808 never ever confirmed that is was chargeable to a subscriber until I got my bill for the last cycle.

Read some more , perhaps you should find the amount of all my calls to 0831237667 ( MNP )

Darn.Looks like i underpayed the bill by R70.Didnt include sufficient cash for my datacard subscription.Must I transfer another R100 Pitbull or should I overpay by R100 on the next bill?
Why when using *162*pincode# do I not see how much free mins and bundled sms'es I have.When do those figures update ? Is it when payment is received which in this case is 5 days later since I made part payment or does it just update anyways?
I normally do EFT for MTN on 7th day of each new month and since MTN is also with ABSA , payment should be reflected within 24 hours.

Got a automated call from 808 at 10h13 this morning , tells me my outgoing calls are to be suspended , please look into this asap , I can still make calls but full payment should by now reflect on the MTN side , can you guys see any pending suspensions on my account and cancel them ?
Well since this is all still going public, i think MTN is correct here . If you are lucky to get the direct number of the MTN CEO and call him up to fix your bill, i wouldn't expect it to be a free call...likewise with any other number that is not officially a "customer care" number. Also i always assume if i have to type the full number [as opposed to just typing 555, 101, 141, 173 etc] then it's gonna be a paid call...
I don't have access to MTNSP's systems - Please PM me your cell number I'll get one of the sup's of Pitbull to give you a call ASAP
