I have a 5g Rain uncapped account and I brokered a deal on and monitor a 2nd 4g uncapped account and I can say conclusively that the experience dealing with Rain and MTN is chalk and cheese! With MTN being the chalk and Rain being the cheese. That's just been my experience...

Not sure. I was busy bitching about the billing issue when the retentions guy offered me a 400 + 400 for R499.

Edit: it was 300 + 300 not ^

I think that may be an indication of what's to come, come BF... based on what someone posted earlier, I assume from a MTN BF promotions brochure....

If I may ask.. Why didn't u guys cancel just before the contract expired(I understand u can give notice the month before) or are u hoping they give u the same for another two years? According to MTN you can now only cancel the day your contract ends. So you have to call the day it ends, and it...

Is there no mtn rep on here

but yeah we have +- 2weeks before debit orders go off

im hoping it will be fixed

and if not im sure we can go sue them or take them to some court

cause my 24 months end on the 23rd

if they cut it and only charge me from the 10-23rd i am fine

but according to the last person i spoke to my last bill will be in Dec for the Nov-Dec invoice

If you look at your invoice with the ridiculous amount, they're billing the full package and add ons from the 23rd or so, which is BS to start with, because we haven't gotten there yet

I just want some clarity. And there's no way I'm paying more than I have agreed to pay. I won't mind paying a pro rata figure for the three days in between the end of my contract and the beginning of my new one.

My understanding the deal is MyMTN CHOICE 400GB. With added 100gb day and 100gb night. 36 months though.

This is what I heard from retentions.
