Thanks to @sand_man, @abzob and the rest of the guys for the codes and contacts. Sent Morris an email and set me up with the 500+500 GB and upgraded my other contract which was not on a BF deal to the R79 package (10GB, 150minutes, 50 sms).

Hi all, upgraded to the following:

R149 per month offer ...50 sms ...15.5 gb anytime...500mb night...550 min x 36 months..2020991 CT 00019 BF...

I was assisted by Neo Makoti, he's super helpful and actually comes back to you when he says he will.
Went to MTN, asked for deals. Consultant handed me the booklet and 2 pager Black Friday special. I said I phoned 135 and they recommended that I quote this code on store. Consultant typed it in, moerse frown for about aminute, offered me the deal, I asked where do I sign.

Thanks boet.

Apologies so the R499 is actually more then what I posted.

55gb anytime (I think 15gb night data as well if I'm not mistaken).
What I'm sure of is there's unlimited mtn to mtn minutes (no fup- maybe must be 10000 like always?) + 3600 all network minutes.

Maybe I should try this as well. I can imagine the guys who's emails have been shared are extremely busy but I am also worried as my contract expires today. So next week I am in the hands of MTN regarding that huge bill.

Whats the code for the R79 package?

Can someone explain how data share works please? If I take the 500+500gig package, of which 100gig is shareable, how is this allocation used up?

For example, the household would have access to all data and 100gig to be shared to my mobile number. So, if the household uses up more than 100gig, does this mean I am out of data on my mobile?

I think shareable will be used last on a contract.
Somebody tested usage a few posts back.

That’s decent even if it’s 36months
So it could be 70gb (55+15) and also do you get 20gb once off?

I need a sales rep direct email. Anyone?

Retentions couldn't help as I'm not looking to upgrade.

Still looking at getting that 500gig + 500gig if possible.
