How long does it take for the upgrade to take place? I haven't received any sms/email yet but I called them yesterday to upgrade.

Same here...agent said 2-24 hours.
So will follow up tomorrow if no further comms come through.

Seems like the loadshedding is also affecting the systems used for upgrading.
 
Was on the 379 50GB + 100GB promo, now due for upgrade.

Got this at retentions:
500GB day + 500GB night @ 299 x 36, 400 GB shareable.
10 day cooling off, 30 day data carry over.

Also got a Debicheck for 10k for tomorrow but she did mention that it is a glitch with all MTN renewals.
Should I be worried ?
 
After 4 hours on the phone, visiting a MTN store, and giving someone 10 reasons why I wanted to talk to "RETENSIONS" .... I eventually got the 12gb & 125 min @ R99. I am happy, paying less for 10 times more value!

Strange agent td me there is no R299 deal for 500plus 500. That was only for last week. The new deals are R349 over 36 months for 500 + 500.
Oh dont stress, my credit check also came back "declined", but they cant figure out why.

349 x 36 is for 600GB + 600GB
Was offered that as well but R50 is R50 and I don't need the extra 100GB
 
My 50GB sim was delivered on Friday. Fscking thing won't connect. Tried 2 routers. Same story. Shows it's connected but no internet.

Called and got through to 2 useless agents that couldn't help jack ****. Will try another router tomorrow.
 
Bit of a poor upgrade experience this year...upgraded 3 numbers yesterday only to get a call from upgrade sales today and them tell me nothing was processed.

Got better deals today but only 1 number processed thus far...guess it's a call again tomorrow.

So the lady called me back this morning saying the 2 x R99 deals were approved and they just want to be sure about the R349 deal. I stopped her and said to please double check if there isn't a R299 deal.
After 3 mins on hold, she retunrs to say Oh there is a R299 x 36 months deal with 600gb (Day)+600gb (Night) with ALL DATA shareable, so I took that option. Thanks!

When I enquired about this a week back, I was told that 400GB is shareable.

I made sure to ask whether all the data is shareable, specifically for the recording and she responded "YES".
Anyways, I only need 50gb per contract (200gb) to be shareable across my 4 x contracts.
 
Anyone can confirm how much data is shareable on the 50GB @ R199 p/m?

Just spoke to retentions department they do not have a R299 600gb day + 600gb Night. The R299 offered is 500. R349 600 day + 600 night (sharable 400gb)

Do you perhaphs have the deal code?

Mine is 500GB + 500GB @ 299 x 36 (code: 2022164CT00010)

She said to me the 600GB + 600GB is 349 x 36

Check your contract document. My package is MyChoice 400 hence 400GB is shareable

The issue is how they load it. I took a 52gb and 125 min one for R235 x 24 months. Think it is the Mega Gigs XS with 50gb normal and 2 gig promo.

They went and loaded ALL data as promo and now I cant share anything. So I am currently on the phone with them for almost 1h30 to see how we can rectify. But then they transfer me to customer care (by the way, WHY are their lines braking up so bad? or is that just me), they on their turn tell you to speak to retentions. Bit deurmekaar
