I also took the same deal, mine is showing 525GB data and 225mins as of yesterday. My iMessage has also stopped working and can not seem to re-activate it. Get an iMessage Activation failed error (tried the R5 trick with no luck) Had no such iMessage issue the past 9 years. My problems have begun with this retention deal.I took the 52GB and 125 min deal. My data says 500GB

My data rolled over last night, I'm supposedly on this R349 600GB deal with pro-rata from Dec 1st.
How much data should I be seeing today with the fresh allocation loaded?
Does anyone have any ideas whether that looks right for the 600GB plan right after the fresh bundles are loaded?Because the data loaded shows only 100gb of promo data, which leads me to think I got the 500Gb deal and not the 600gb, something which I specifically confirmed on the upgrade call.
I had a lot of data remaining from the previous contract, no idea if that rolled over, I’m assuming not though.

They Fckd mine up wholesale. I've been calling retentions for the last 3 weeks to correct. All a bunch a clueless cnutbuckets.Does anyone have any ideas whether that looks right for the 600GB plan right after the fresh bundles are loaded?

Yeah it sucks when they get the contract wrong because they stop being very helpful, cntsThey Fckd mine up wholesale. I've been calling retentions for the last 3 weeks to correct. All a bunch a clueless cnutbuckets.
Ok, So that 600gb Day and 600gb Night contract i upgraded to, there is still only 400gb Shareable.
Initially I couldn't datashare to 2 of the 4 contracts.
Turns out, I had data share on from one of those 2 contracts already (sharing from my number to one of the others). Once I cancelled that datashare, I was able to share from the 400gb to all 4 other numbers.
Approx 80gb each, for the 5 numbers should be enough.
Realy difficult to tell. How can you tell that you have received the 600gb allocation, does my screenshot posted earlier look correct?
It looks ominous, your promo data shows as 147GB which means it could have started at 200GB which is where it should have been whereas mine shows as 99.52GB right after the data rolled over so no chance of it being 200GB and hence I may be on a 500GB deal and not 600GB.Realy difficult to tell.
My contract also had roll over data, and the new allocation i'm certain was prorata.
Geez!!! I really dont know bud. Maybe start by contacting the billing dept (details on the invoice). Im still struggling to get all my data shareable, retentions are useless. If billing dept doesnt resolve, maybe go in to an MTN store.Oh god, looks like I'm in for a nightmare, I thought it was all too good to be true...
I got the bill for the first month on my new contract, surprise surprise, R1800 early termination charge.
And I'm still on the same old package, R524pm for 500GB and not the 600GB for R349.
What's the best way to fight this? @Bunta
It has to be an MTN run store and not a franchise but they will need to pull the call so I'm assuming going via the call centre is key. The guy that helped me sounded like a nice guy but what a tool, how could he have cocked it up so badly!?Geez!!! I really dont know bud. Ageed, but so far ive had fxall progress with the call centres. It has to be an MTN run store and not a franchise but they will need to pull the call so I'm assuming going via the call centre is key. Anyone else take out a 100GB @ R299 month-to-month? MyMTN (app) has updated to reflect a plan called 'New Black Friday 100GB', instead of simply 'Black Friday 100GB' when I originally signed up. It also shows that the contract is due for an upgrade next month, not that it's on a month-to-month basis. Is this aligned with everyone else?
