Yip telkom contracts avoid like the plague. My contract is cancelled and yet I'm still getting billed.

It's the normal 20GB + 20GB for R149.

I just asked him to bolt on the 100 minutes monthly, which is an additional R136.

Was an upgrade from the 2016 BF...

Regarding the MTN Specialised BF2016 offers...

The ("standard" 50gb + 50gb night) plus ("promotional" 50gb + 50gb night)
=
100gb anytime + 100gb *night
At R469pm x 24

Question is : Can one data share the "standard" data and will the "standard" data roll-over to the next month if it isn't used?

Yes... and it rolls over for two extra months (so you can have a maximum of 3 months worth of data).

Have you confirmed this with an mtn consultant, because I spoke to one over the phone and they have said that YES we will be able to Data share the standard data BUT it will NOT roll-over to the next month.

So I have upgraded to the R299 deal (60GB + 30GB Night). I will add on Minutes.

I received the black friday deals MTN will offer (See below), and there is no deal that will beat any of the deals on the table- Which are only for upgrade of 50GB deals taken out in 2016.

Interesting, If thats the case i too will get the R299 deal, the R469 is an overkill, specially sins we will have two in the family, is it possible to load minutes to that sim card?
 
Does the made for me M deals work like top up? Or is it open ended?

Is it not 60GB day + 60GB night?
Also how many minutes did u add on and what was the addon price?
 
Is there any chance mtn will extend the 2016 black friday offer upgrades to new customers. The other black friday deals aren't competitive. I think you can currently get 80gbs for 499. Nothing really special for new customers or those that don't have the 2016 black friday sim
