MTN Black Friday Discussions

If I may ask.. Why didn't u guys cancel just before the contract expired(I understand u can give notice the month before) or are u hoping they give u the same for another two years?
According to MTN you can now only cancel the day your contract ends. So you have to call the day it ends, and it can only be over the phone, no email.
 
I would just like to clarify something. When I upgraded my contract in 2018 I did it on the 25th of November but my contract apperantly ended on Friday the 13th is that normal?

Shouldn't it end on the 25th ?
 
Glad that I am not the only one with the bill to date of -R1400 decreasing and R3k+ outstanding, why they moved billing date to the 12th of each month is a mystery, especially when your contract runs from the 26th of each month.

Not prepared to pay anything more than the R469 I signed up for until it lapses on the 26th, after that they may bring out the vaseline and shaft.

Here's to hoping for some 2016-ish BF Deals this year though. If not, then that 80GB for R299 is a decent deal, just been waiting to see what BF Deals get offered up this year before pulling the trigger
 
So retentions only has the made for me xs deals atm....all 36 months long contracts. Deals are as follows:
- 150mins 50 sms 11gb for R79
- 50 mins 50 sms 21gb for R99
- 150 mins 50 sms 16gb for R129
- 50 mins 50sms 51gb for R149

Thank you. Any idea if this is only for the older BF customers or will this be for the general public as well?
 
So far it is only for existing customers who are due for an upgrade/downgrade.

More deals should be added on the 20th when the Black Friday officially is out on the website
 
Also with regarding to billing...the lady said they have loaded a new system....she logged in a complaint for me....they should be able to fix the system in this week

it probably was there strategy. needed to make money somewhere. so they either gave too little minutes or too little data on the difference options
