Just checked with a consultant that activated my R149 deal (550 mins and 15.5gigs)

she said there is no package that matches the above, can you possibly share a product code ?
 
Okay UPDATE:

i managed to get in touch with someone, told them i have a phone contract and already upgraded that beginning of the year.

Apparently I can get these retention deals since i have an existing Contract (mobile contract).

Although i would be charged an "upgrade fee".

I asked how much but she said she can't tell me or even make the upgrade because there's security questions that needs to be answered by the contract holder (my dad) so will call in again when his around.

Just hoping the upgrade fee isn't too much, didnt know about that.

looking at the 50gb (with the complicated break down...),prepaid R199 deal.

is it available at the moment? i have an MTN sim somewhere, can i just dial a code and get it?
can it be used on my phone?
 
So after taking the R149x36, 15GB+550min package. I asked to cancel and take the R199x36, 50GB 600min 50MMS package.

I could cancel the first upgrade i took, wait until my line was released, then get back to retentions, or I could pay the R129.xx (contract dependant) and then get the new package. Paid the extra to get onto the R199 package rather.

Do you have the email or name of the person you spoke to? My gf wants to upgrade but she isnt in the bf deals but is on a mtn contract that has ended and currently month to month

It needs to be an existing contract which is eligible for an upgrade.
 
ok i see this from mybroadband:

but before i try....not too sure about this part:

in the same boat,took the R149 deal and want to change to the R199 50gig 600min package but the consultant that did my upgrade cant find this deal...any product code that i can use ?

So I just spoke to a consultant and they cant find this deal R199x36, 50GB 600min 50SMS
they only see Made for me XS deal 50mins, 50gb, 50sms...
Did you ask for anything in particular/special like what @daiyaan stated

There was no code it can only be offered through the retentions department.

Did everyone who did the SIM only upgrades receive a delivery for a new SIM card for some reason ?

Any news on the billing issue being resolved ?

i told them i do not want a new sim. So nothing delivered.
 
Guys please don't share her email address on this very public thread with tons of lurkers just yet,I gave it out to a few members via PM as I'm waiting for her to do 2 upgrades for me,now she's gonna be spammed via email and I won't get this done...:confused:
 
BTW we had to specially "ask" for this deal and wait 24 hours for her to get it approved and loaded on the system so no I'm not being selfish by first wanting to take the offer up for my friends and family,the offer will be valid until month end for everybody else anyway.
 
The deal that's for R299 for 100GB black friday internet can you buy it directly at a mtn store? I've applied for it online twice but no luck getting the deal
