and they told me my contract was up on the 12th

maybe they changed to billing cycles or something

They're trying to molest us by throwing out all these minutes focused deals and forcing us to chose before Black Friday. We need data not minutes, it's 2023 who even calls anyone anymore.

who is the mybb rep who can investigate for us

cause its early upgrades, penalty charges as well
 
So the most you're getting is still 200GB or sign up for their home 5G deals that's uncapped but then you don't get Datashare.

I essentially cancelled my contract last Friday when I switched to the 200GB diamond package on month-to-month. With these deals seems I can save R100 by taking it up on contract.

I'm not sure whether to go with the 12 month or 24 month, what if next year they offer even less data :/

You may recall the the first month gets charged pro-rata. So if you upgrade on the 24th, you will be charged from then to the11th (my billing cycle).

I am philosophical on the 25th/37th month as the other 24/36 months (minus the few days haha) we get a fantastic deal. But then again my (sole) contract is palatable - R31 bill so far for 3 days on MyChoice 40GB.

I don't see the MyChoice packages on the MTN website or yellotrader so not sure of the current pricing of the package, or if it is being offered still.

Their BF deals only officially launch on Friday the 17th, probably why it's not online yet. If that turns out to their real deals, I'll be keen on the 200GB Diamond deal. At R 299 it's a R 100/month saving on the normal price. Only negative is that u have to sign for 12 or 24 months, the normal pricing is available month to month.
 
I need a new phone with my upgrade so hoping there's a decent deal. That iPhone 4 Pro one is tempting. Will see tomorrow what there is.
