How much is it?I called 135 (Option 4, then Option 2) at 8am and was told that the BF deals only start on Monday.
That said, I asked what was currently on offer and was pleasantly surprised. Certainly presents as a BF deal.
“MyMTN Choice 8GB”
14GB daytime
14GB nighttime
500 minutes any network
Works with DataShare
30 days rollover on data
60 days rollover on minutes
24 month SIM only contract
how much

They trying to get US Black Friday upgrade users to break the patern so we need to take NEW black friday specials next year.18 months, seems odd. I wonder why they chose 18 months instead of the usual 24.

As mentioned in earlier post, this is what they told me. Think you confirmed better detail on the MyMTN Choice 8GB that I missed.
MyMTN Choice 8gb - 4gb anytime, 4gb night time, PLUS 6gb anytime PROMO and 500min all network - R106/pm for 24 months. (might have miss typed this one)
MyMTN Choice 20gb - 10gb anytime, 10gb night time, PLUS 10gb anytime PROMO and 500min all network - R179/pm for 24 months. (again, might have got the name wrong)
MyMTN Choice 60gb - 20gb anytime, 20gb night time, PLUS 20gb anytime PROMO and 500min all network - R260/pm for 24 months. 2023054 CT 09437 DG
Are all 3 a new contract or all retention?@maverick7987 I’m not familiar with the codes, nor did it come up. I was also offered more data like @JLo Human mentioned but you cannot get more than 500 minutes.
I have the R106pm x 24 deal live now across 3 contracts.
They do have a MTN sky silver with 4500mins, that's one of the contracts I took. R550 for 90gb, 4500mins, unlimited MTN to MTN calls, 400 sms's a day@maverick7987 I’m not familiar with the codes, nor did it come up. I was also offered more data like @JLo Human mentioned but you cannot get more than 500 minutes.

Edit: I’ve since added the Deal ID to my previous post.
Deal ID: “2023054 CT 09437 DG” is supposed to be the one you are interested in. As mentioned before I am yet to receive the full allocation. From previous experience with these upgrades it can take months before MTN delivers on what they told you over the phone.@Azimuth @JLo Human thanks guys for the information...however I called retentions and gave them that code but they said the MyMTN Choice packages don't come with any minutes - they only offer data.
I was most interested in
MyMTN Choice 60gb - 20gb anytime, 20gb night time, PLUS 20gb anytime PROMO and 500min all network - R260/pm for 24 months.
Let me know if the code is correct - thanks in advance!

I think it works Mon-Fri onlyI see the retentions direct number mentioned previously in this thread has been closed/deactivated. Is there another way of contacting them directly?
Correct, The Ignition Group and they are as useless and deceitful as they come, step very carefully around retentions upgrades and while you are on the call confirm the details of everything verbally with the consultant, repeat it back to them, so if they stuff it up they can pull the call and you have proof of whatever was claimed.I may be corrected but the mtn sales / retentions are run by Ignition call centre
