MTN Black Friday Discussions

It's possible that he was sharing data, and now that the limit for that is 150gb they serve no purpose? I dunno, just a guess.

I am on the business 500gb + 500gb promo with 500gb sharable.

I originally could datashare to 20 numbers when i took the contract out.

Now with the datashare limitations and costs, its no move a benefit to me. I am also out of contract on month2 month.

Price was originally R999, i m currently paying abt R1299. Mtn can up the price at any time as per their tncs

How do you get through to Retentions/Ignition group via 135?
Do they have a direct line number

I had a few of the 1Tb contracts over the years. I'm cancelling and leaving now. I want to say I'm leaving because they removed all the numbers I was sharing to with no prior notice, but honestly the support is so bad. I was sent to like 5 people before being told that the policy changed. The consultants are always so unhelpful, lazy and dense; some literally hang up on you, remain silent, or just send you to the wrong department even if you tell them not to. The cancellation fee is worth it; I finally can leave. I'm going with Afrihost's Airmobile sims which allow datasharing but has a max of 200gb sadly

Are you sure Afrihost allows datasharing? I couldn't find any reference to that on their site.

Why not just get the non-business contracts?

Its more like data transfer than sharing.

I was also considering that, but please check the speeds if you decide to go that route

Is that a 12 month contract?

I see data share edits are down to 6 per month from 1 October, the squeeze continues....

I reckon there was a business going on here, is all I am saying
Correct. In a WhatsApp group I'm in, a seller was offering monthly data bundles up to 200gb. MTN realised guys were taking out the biggest contracts possible and then reselling the datashare data.

I think we can be appreciative that they didn't choose to cancel datashare as that would've been a clusterF!
