Unfortunately our contracts expire before then. Which is weird because when these first came out, we all took it out on BF at the end of the month, so it should be expiring then too...The retention deals usually improve a lot just before Black Friday itself, that's the way it's worked before.
I've had this dance with MTN since the first black friday deal, next year will be the first one where I can't upgrade because they only offered 18 month contracts last year for the data deal I needed. Which is weird because when these first came out, we all took it out on BF at the end of the month, so it should be expiring then too...
So MTN is basically making it impossible to get two BF deals in a row, unless you're willing to take a hit in "month 24 (36)" @JanAgent informed that the reason the contract ends on 11th is because mtn billing cycle runs on 12th and they need to end the contract before the next billing cycle. Didnt want to engage on the 35mths and 11 days vs 36mths contract duration and just kept repeating "the system says youve had it for 36 months because its november"

How much is the latest bill?My previous BF contract was meant to end 11 Nov, but I see the promo data was allocated again this morning. Will look to renew when (if?) BF deals come around.
