MTN Black Friday Discussions

I phoned retentions earlier this afternoon and there's no new deals for the Consumer Contracts yet, I'm hoping there's going to be something on Black Friday or Cyber Monday or else it’s the 200GB deal for R389 for me 😭

Any luck with them dropping the exorbitant invoice amount on your latest bill?

No I haven't bothered with that yet, I'm still waiting to find an upgrade and then I’ll cross that bridge.
I still need to find out why only this year(annd last year perhaps) all these BF contracts ended early, whereas previously that wasn't the case.

Does anyone have any ideas why that has happened and if there is a legitimate reason for it happening?
Because that's really the only basis I can think of to argue, my contracts terminating early was some glitch or error and the letter of my contract was not honoured.

No changes.

These are called YELLOW PLAN ESSENTIAL and are 24 months SIM-only contracts.

Apparently no data sharing allowed.

There is a 10 day cooling off period if a better deal mysteriously pops up.

That is why I was not prepared to take a chance and wait for deals.
 
So anything special available today for consumer Data contracts?!
Is my R1700 gamble going to pay off!
 
Ok, so i know this is a MTN thread, but given the lame deals they are giving this year does anyone know of deals from other networks where they are offering big data which can also be shared.

If so, its sayonara MTN from me.

Sadly this is the case, I just got off the phone.
Zero new Data packages released for BF, just the same old tired retention deal they've had for months
250GB R389 x 12 months and only 70GB can be Datashared

They say some new stuff will be released on Cyber Monday, our last hope :coffee:
 
30gb for 149 a month is pretty good. ordered this morning, sim delivered and activated already... 1.5GB for the end of Nov, lets hope it is actually 30gb when december hits.
