ok so I use my cellphone as a modem,
on average i use about 1 gig a month,
so since MTN started 60 day bundle period i only buy 2 gig every 2 months as it's cheaper than 1 gig each month

on 1 December 2009, at about 8:50 am I uploaded a 2 gig bundle
on 1 December 2009, at about 9:02am i recieved a messsage "yellow you have successfully loaded a 2 gig bundle.." that sms is still on my phone

now today i recieve a sms:
"yellow some of your data will expire on 31/12, dail *141# for more detail"

so i dial
*141*1# then 3 for data
"you have 1.4 gig, 1.4 gig will expire on 31/12"

why don't i get 60 days?

See here.

I also get these SMS's but ignore them and all is fine.

This is pre-paid though, you can't ignore it when your bundle expires early and you can connect but get no throughput.

I ignore them and nothing happens. I still have my bundle after their cut off date and still surf. I buy prepaid about 3 times a month and use it all up and still get those SMS's and nothing expires.
