Guys, once again, I come to the experts for some advice/help, because MTN has been no help at all.
A little back story, I have 2 MTN contracts on my name, one is mine, the other is the wifes. The numbers are very similar, in fact, the are the same, only one digit is different.
I have had both these contracts, for the better part of 8 years.
So this year, January, I upgraded my contract to the NoteII, on a TopUp 200 package. All went well. Then Mach/April, my wife upgraded to the Z10, on a topup 350 package, firstly her updgrade was a mess, first the BIS was never taken off, then she did not receive her data, so after about a month and countless calls, hers seemed to be sorted out.
Then all of a sudden, my after hers was fixed, my contract, that was on the 200 package also changed to the 350 package. I phoned 808, hundreds of times, they have not fixed it, the keep telling me they have escalated it to another department, but cant give me contact numbers for this department.
I phoned the MTN shop where we took out the contract, but nothing happened.
I took copies of the contract to our local MTN shop, twice, still no change.
I sent MTN 3 messages via the their site, and still nothing, not even an email confirming they are working on it.
So, now my question(s):

- Where can I take this, to get this fixed, and
- Can I not, legally cancel this contract, as they have breached contract and put me on a higher package, without my consent?
