My colleagues and I ordered new phones via our MTN Corporate salesperson two weeks ago.

We were told we might have them by last friday (5/11). Today (12/11) there is still no sign of the new phones. But the worst is this: the whole week, Monday until today, our PA has tried to contact the relevant sales person at MTN Cana Walk, and also the contact at MTN JHB. Voicemail all the time, ZERO response the whole week! I didn't think it's possible for a cell provider such as MTN to handle a large corporate such as ours in such a disgusting manner.

If the phones were no longer available, or the sales rep goes on holiday, there should be procedures to fulfil promises made. We should have been informed/contacted.... something. But we are in a void.

If there's an MTN rep out there willing to try to resolve our dilemma, please pm me today.

Who's your rep? I'm also CPT based.

Janine is supposedly our rep. Never replies to emails though and is always out of office...

What was I thinking expecting better :(

I simply cannot believe the poor service MTN is giving corporate customers, I'm gonna phone MTN Business today and ask if I can have the job & make the account managers spark!

Mind you, two years ago when we were with Vodacom Business, they were just as bad....but apparently there were only 4 account managers for the whole Western Cape. :wtf:

Maybe things have changed now.

It would be better if they did nothing at all. No corp. offerings = no hopes raised only to be dashed.

Chick comes to our office. Gives a nice speech about how awesome things will be- all we need to do is email her and phones will be with us as soon as they can be shipped from JHB. 'Faster and more convenient' than going to an MTN store.

Bollocks.

It's normally a chick with nice....um...personality. :)

That gets me every time. I'm a sucker for punishment. :(

Janet/Janine/Justine or something? ;)

Might the same one.

Still no luck from my side. Officially due for upgrade, but with this Corp. thing I apparently have to wait until my contract actually ends :wtf:

Still trying to figure out their cryptic method of deciding which packages/deals qualify for the discount...

Any idea if the OffPeak and TopUp packages are avaialable?

If you are a corporate client then the best is to contact Head Office and work through them. You'll get to the right person if you complain on Hellopeter. That's what I did.

Got hold of someone at Head Office. Did my contract upgrade via e-mail and the next day I had my phone delivered to my door in Brackenfell from Midrand. I will never have to complain again about service from MTN Head Office.
