You cant share data on a promo package, business rules.

Sorry to reactivate an old thread - I just can’t find clear answers elsewhere and you guys seem to know what’s going on. I understand that Data Share wouldn’t work for something like the 50 GB promotion. But would it not work for any other promotional deal? I’m looking at getting the 10 GB double data deal here (https://www.mtn.co.za/Pages/DoubleyourDataDeals.aspx), putting the SIM in my iPad and sharing some of the data to my phone.

Would I be able to use Data Share?
