If you put SIM into a router, you can. It is what I had been told by the shop attendant. I said to a friend with a similar question to move contract number to the prepaid card (and use it on the phone) and use contract SIM in the router. You cant share data on a promo package, business rules.

I use hotspot everyday on 50gb bundle. No charges.
How can they know if you hotspot or LTE modem or whatever?
Final consensus, will data share (transferring to another sim) work?
Nope, not with the 50GB data bundleFinal consensus, will data share (transferring to another sim) work?
Not on the 50gb promotional data. But every package comes with a monthly allotment of non promotional data, which qualifies for data share.
I have activated data share on my primary sim which has 50GB +2GB and linked the data share to a secondary sim in order to utilize the 2GB. Is it possible for me to view the data share balance (for the 2GB) on the secondary sim? On the primary sim, which bundle would be used first, 50GB or 2GB?
