Howzit!

I complained at my ISP (@lantic) about their servers being up to  !

I then got this brainwave... Try a Vodacom sim and see what happens then...

Yeah, you've got it! The problem is not with my ISP nor Vodacom!

When using my VC sim in my 3G card I can update my webpage via http. (I have to publish via http for the frontpage sever extensions to work...)

But the sad story is I can't publish using my MTN sim...

My computer can’t find a server on port 80??? Does that mean anything?

MTN switched something off a week or so ago, VPN or something like that, whatever it is...

Now I am wondering if my bad luck is due to this?

I even threatened to leave @lantic for their poor service and not being able to help me, but it wasn't even their fault!!!

I tested this on 3 computers with 2 sims and 2 data cards... same problem...

So what now MTN DD?

I did pm you my contact details last week regarding this:

Hallooooooo!

hallllllllllloooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I did everything.

Old software, new software, through windows...

2 data cards, 3 computers, 2 MTN sims... Same story.

It works with VC in my hsdpa data card on every computer, so it's not the card.

It's on MTN's side.

Good day,

I was on leave last week and do apologize for the delay

Do you mind please sending me a PM with your cell number so I can investigate and provide feedback for some very strange reason I didn’t get your PM

Hi,

The IP guys implimented a caching engine, If we know what the IP address is, we can allow it through the cache without caching it. This problem has been logged with Cisco.

Could I please ask you for the IP address of the server that you're trying to use.

Regards,
