MTN dominates in Durban

MyBroadband recently conducted drive tests in Durban between 25 February and 3 March 2019, and the results show that MTN has the best mobile data network.

Areas included as part of this test were Umhlanga, Durban North, Morningside, Westville, New Germany, Pinetown, the Durban CBD, Glenwood, Umbilo, and the Bluff.

I live in pinetown and cell c was absolutely horrible.
Cell C averaged about 3mbps while telkom averaged around 50mbps.

Cell C is just pathetic. I had no network for the last two days. It would switch to roaming at times but at the others it would have nothing at all.

Cell C is comfortably the worst... Often the network would just vanish... And data would never work reliably.
