Revenue up 24.2%

I just posted about it in off topic.

I'd like my company to have public results - then I can sit in my contract negotiation meeting and till them to shove their recession excuse.

If MTN's revenue can increase notwithstanding it's total lack of customer care anyone can print $$

If the reports they give the shareholders looks anything like the statements they give customers I wouldn't trust it!

actually MTNs annual reports are not bad at all in comparison to other co's. They definitely didn't downgrade on the budget like most other co's.

Now take all that profit and FIX YOUR F$@#%ing USELESS NETWORK.

Remember, their increase in subscribers and reveune is mainly from expedning to africa.
Increase in SA customers, i doubt it as many i have seen seem to be leavin (i might also leave, depends on prices as i have been offered top deals to stay on).
I also never had prob with their network, but had a prob with their recent competition (R7.50 per sms and u have to be the highest biller), that where probably all the profit came from.
Think: 1 million ppl reply to 1 sms, that R7,5 million, more than the prizes,
Which i y i want to leave, and i think many others 2.

We had a bunch of contracts up for renewal and asked both companies to basicly tender ( Vodacom / MTN ). MTN pulled out a lot more stops to get the business where Vodacom's replies were lackluster and pretty much uninterested.

And no it was'nt just a few accounts or low accounts either.

"We have seen high churn rates, particularly in SA. Consumers are increasingly carrying dual SIMs," said Nhleko.
Why don't MTN ask themselves why the churn rates are so high.
Could it be customers are not entirely satisfied with your service or parts thereof?

I will be leaving them for the same reason, every corporate pulls crap like this but MTN went to a new low.

Problem is, I have shares in MTN, not doing my conscience any good.
