Don't know about "badly", but the share price has had a pretty good run. I estimate between a 10% and 20% drop in the share price. Those people that participated in the BEE deal will still be in the money.
What I'd like to know is, if Bharti do buy 100% of MTN, what happens to those people that participated in the BEE deal? Remember that they were told that for every 10 shares at the end of 2 years, they would get one share free. Would this deal take that into consideration? Time will tell.
