Wow trust me people that even if you stay in a small town your chances of already having MTN LTE is very good.... You should try it out. I mean no annoucement or indication on the coverage map but Richards Bay and Empangeni is well covered with speeds of 25Mbps+
Some areas covered in Richards bay is Aquadene,Brackenham,Richards Bay CBD, Alton CBD, Meer en See, Veld en Vlei, Veld en Vlei ext, Arboretum, Ricardia and then the R34 at the Eskhaweni turn off..... Yeah there is no houses there not sure why they decided to put LTE there but its blazing fast @ 40Mbps + down and 12 Mbps up.......
Some areas covered in Empangeni is Kuleka/Empangeni rail, Grantham Park, Empangeni CBD
Those I can confirm has LTE. Not sure about any other places but as you can see not a single 1 is on the coverage map but I tell you they have very good LTE coverage.....
