MTN launches Visa card

I guess i need to select savings account for the eft?

got the account number and branch code in the sms after registering.
 
Definitely going to get 1. Did anyone manage to get their card yet? Is there a microchip(pin protected) what cost are associated with this card. Do you need Rica documents

Doesn't seem like they give you a card. It's more like a mobile payment gateway linked to your phone and imei

I see I wonder if you will be able to withdraw from ATM or only from PnP and Boxer ?

Enter your Mobile PIN number
Select option 2 for "Withdraw"
Select option 1 to receive your once-off, 7-digit WiCode
Your WiCode will now be displayed. This code is valid for 15 minutes and can only be used once.
Read out the WiCode to the cashier, and receive your cash
You will receive an SMS confirming your withdrawal

MTN are very clever they want a slice of the pie. Everyone will jump the band wagon come next year fees will apply. It's like a launch promotion.

Surely *120* is chargeable at 20c per minute or 20 seconds.

I will pass read their terms and condition carefully with fee strcuture

The card only got released today so I'm sure they will update the website. Using the wicode was very limiting because if you needed cash urgently afterhours there is nothing you can do. Now with the new visa card you can use a ATM and swipe your card all over in stores.

It think its free if you are a MTN customer but NOT so when you use another network.
