I swear, if this country could use its ingenuity for doing good things instead of bad, we would be unbeatable.

MTN should much rather focus on sorting out their pathetic networks in SA and leave the cloak and dagger stuff to the CIA etc. I am daily more and more frustrated by the lack of decent MTN coverage in Cape Town. I drove from the N1 down the M5 to Muizenberg yesterday with someone sitting next to me trying to log the trip using an iPad and Google maps ... but MTN's signal failed the whole way. The best we got was EDGE and the maps didn't want to update under EDGE. Similar problems happen all over. One cannot help get a strong impression that this company is so involved with other sh_t that they have no resources left for their original market.

Nokia Maps work the whole way ...

Strange - I've had no issues with MTN reception in CPT.

Cell C on the other hand...

Do you really think MTN makes all their money in SA?

No, it is really bad, dropped calls, lousy reception, nearly every day there is problems with reception and this MTN to MTN calls, not even other networks, been with MTN since 2003, will probably porting my numbers as soon as my contracts are up.

Well done MTN!!
Glad I have shares
Glad you just bought alot of your own shares

Well done MTN. Glad that you and the rest of the world have found ways around the US's oppressive bullying tactics. Stop telling the world what to do, and start doing it yourselves first. Lead by example, not hypocrisy.

The funny thing is that top US companies themselves are involved, by supplying Iran with equipment that is banned by the US government. Double hypocrisy. Double standards. Smoke and mirrors. Yet the majority of people will still accept everything they read and watch on TV. Weapons of mass destruction, oil, nuclear energy, Israel. Open your eyes.
