MTN publishes table detailing all contract subscription fee hikes

Well if you actually provided LTE during loadshedding and if you stopped fvcking spamming me with your shyte I wouldn't mind so much but fvck you and I will not be renewing

You are a vey one-sided "provider" as are all cell providers and although you make huge profits on top of the huge mistakes and bad decisions you as the anc make the people pay for your mistakes.

Good thing I'm on a month to month basis so I can cancel any time I want

MTN publishes table detailing all contract subscription fee hikes

MTN has published a complete list of the pricing changes for subscription fees on mobile contracts.

The mobile network operator recently announced it would hike these prices by an average of 5.1% from 1 April 2023.

What's the point of a contract if they can just change prices as it suits them

Storytime: I signed up for a 24 months deal on 09 March 2023. 1 April 2023 they implement these increases. I thought to myself, whatever. Today I stumbled on the fact that new customers are being offered the exact same deal I took for R60 cheaper. The same calling plan is R50 cheaper for new customers.

Put differently, I signed up for:

Original:
Device: R1100
Plan: R1049

1 April increase:
Device: R1100
Plan: R1100

If you sign up today:
Device: R1090
Plan: R1049

I submitted a new application for it and MTN confirmed the pricing on the site to be accurate. I've officially complained. I'm going to challenge this all the way through.
