MTN Sim Swap

Hi Guys,

I am changing my phone to a model which supports normal sim rather than microsim.. I spoke to MTN call center and they say they would charge R136 for sim swap.. isnt it a lot? I mean a normal sim costs only R1 and then they just need to do a sim swap right? FYI, My sim is in contract.. Is there a cheaper way to do this?

You could get one of these R50 adapter... I paid R60 approximately for a sim swap from a nano to micro sim. No cheaper way as its a contract
