MTN voicemail access problem

I have not been able to access my voicemail for the past 2 weeks. It tells me that I have new messages, but that the server is unable to handle my request at this time. Any ideas? I already called Nashua Mobile 3 days ago. They have logged a call with MTN, but obviously it is still a problem.

I also tried to log into i-mail and change it so that I get voicemail via MMS, but I get a 404 error as soon as I click through to the i-mail screen.

Hi Dr Data. I know this is not the correct thread, and I do apologise for doing a bit of hijacking, but please could you comment on the other thread wrt the data issues we have been experiencing?
 
Can't access mine too! Keeps giving me an “Invalid number was dialled” when phoning 100 or 111 from my phone.
 
My girlfriend has been trying to get her voicemail to work for months.

Phoned the call centre several times to request “activation” and was told that she should try in 2 hours. Nothing.

Went to an MTN shop and was amazed that they also had to phone the same number! Was told exactly the same – wait 2 hours.

We did and it still did not work. Went back and they logged a technical query and told us that we will be contacted by a technician within 3 days to short this out.

This was 2 months ago.

Has anyone experienced something similar? Any suggestion on how we can get this sorted?

You do know that post was 6 years old, try dial 555 and access the voicemail options.
