Just got this message from MTN:

Y'ello! You will be migrated to MTN Call Per Second Price Plan by 7 September, where you pay the low rate of R0.99 per second billing when making a voice call. T&C's apply.

Don't know if I'm reading this correctly but sounds like R0.99 cent per second like almost R60 per minute on voice calls? WTF.

That's the other thing got two Sims in the phone one I use for Data and the other for voice calls. Both on different packages, so not sure what Sims this message was for. But the price seems high regardless.
 
I received same message this morning plus a second one promising a chance to win a Toyota Agya if I recharge with R10.00. I am already on Prepaid R0.99 per second.
