I actually can't even rememer changing batteries ... I think maybe I changed recently from the included batteries to my own Duracell. According the claims, it's 3 years ... and even if that is over stated, 2 years is a long time (I've sitting at close to 2 years)
But there isn't backlights or anything fancy to use the battery.
As for the general feel, I love it ... I've never placed huge emphasis on a keyboard and this is the most expensive I've bought - but since I have, I understand why keyboards cost more than other keyboards. I'll definatley be getting another should this break. Feels solid and looks great.
Model is Dell KM7321W keyboard and the only reason was because it connects (Bluetooth) to my PC and WiFi dongle to my old Mac Mini. No issues swapping between the two.
I really don't have or see any cons - but maybe someone with more exposure to keyboards can tell you.
