MultiChoice announces three new DStv channels

Well in August HD English premier leuge 24/7 channel, cant wait,

I wouldn't mind them adding more documentary channels.. like Nat Geo Adventure and Discovery Science. Oh and A LOT more Movie channels

well at least someone in the household will enjoy 308

Well, well, well... l u c k y ... l u c k y ...we are, aren't we? All three available to Premium subscribers as well? Still don't know how you deliver all this at just R600 per month. Almost feels like theft. We have hit the motherload! That Multichoice logo resembles a rainbow, and I think we have just found the pot of gold! Always loved SABC but never really felt I was getting enough local content. This feels so good. You good people at Multichoice sure know how to deliver bang for buck, I'd sure like like to give you so much more too. "The channel will also introduce to television the uniquely South African low budget film genre nicknamed “bubblegum cinema”. No, no, stop, now you are just spoiling us! Low budget local films too? I feel like I've died and gone to entertainment heaven!

“The launch of these new channels is part of an ongoing effort by MultiChoice to provide customers with the best value and a greater entertainment experience,” Alberts concluded.

Any more value & entertainment and I'd be in need of a defibrillator and an extra exclamation key!!!

They obviously listen to their customers...

My maid will be stoked to hear she has a greater variety of choices now. Well done Naspers...

I particularly enjoy walking down the street and standing on a piece of chewed up bubblegum.
I also quite enjoy getting it stuck in my hair after a bubble blowing competition.
Oh, and having it blow up in my face and picking it off for the next half an hour too.
It adds a fantastic finish to our street pavements which certainly represents our rainbow nation.
Or sitting in a chair and realising someone has left a little surprise for me under the desk - that one is super fun.
But what I really enjoy about bubblegum is the incessant crackling, chewing, spewing sound it makes when chewed around other people.

Congratulations to the moron in the marketing department who thought of Bubblegum Cinema. The name speaks volumes for the content we're likely to endure - it's cheap, nasty, annoying and now not only does it pollute our streets, but our televisions too. Gold star for you. Put it on your forehead and wear it with pride...

It's about time they introduced more content for the folk who actually pay their ever-increasing subscriptions.
And I surmise that they would be the folk in the upper quartile of income earners.
And that quartile certainly does not include kids, and domestic staff.

What really astounds me is that there must be at least a group of people being paid actual money to design this crud of cr@p. Thank you to that group, you guys are awesome, please keep up the good work!

So more quality time with the family then? It's like Multichoice wants to force people to enjoy the outdoors, read a book or even go to the cinemas. I'm sure they are not even really trying.

The channel will also introduce to television the uniquely South African low budget film genre nicknamed “bubblegum cinema”.

My local moviehouse has had bubblegum stuck on the bottom of seats for a long time. It didn't impress me then either.
