And nowhere near the level of sports coverage...
Rubbish, it depends what kind of sport you like.
Just because it doesn't have rugby or cricket doesn't mean they don't have sports.

And nowhere near the level of sports coverage...
I never said they didn't have sports at all.. I said dstv has one of the best levels of sports coverage...
And there are very many other satellite packages out there that have very good sports coverage. Many of them with far more HD.
Heck most European satellite packages are better than DSTV, including Rugby and Cricket.
Really? Do they cover as many leagues in as many countries and different sporting codes as dstv?
I will admit I last checked about a year ago and dstv coverage was generally miles better than their international counterparts.
Just as an addendum to this. I know you are massively anti-dstv Gary, but if you like various sports then it's actually good value for money, and in this county you will not be able to beat the value and convenience with any of the online services.
Leagues in terms of what? If it's football then I and many others couldn't care less. They know this which is why all the football channels are on the cheaper packages...
Any of them really..
Soccer, Rugby, Tennis, Atheletics, Motorsport, etc.
Yes, a fair chunk of the soccer is on the cheaper packages, but the full range of sport is obviously not.
Yes, there will be people who don't care about the sport, or all of it, but there are enough people who do, and they are the backbone of the subscriber numbers and for them the cost of DSTV is actually good value for money.
R322 from 1 April 2016I used to work for a Naspers owned company quite a while back. DSTV was 50% off for all employees.
