MultiChoice launches DStv-Disney+ bundles

So as someone who's currently on Compact with an older HD decoder, I'll need to spend an extra R110 per month for the access fee just to be able to subscribe to D+, plus get a new decoder?

Or, you know, I could just subscribe to D+ without DSTV, since I already have fibre :rolleyes:

Make it make sense!

Stay with a US Disney + app and subscription - way better. The local app is the Indian Hotstar version, with all it limitations.

Thanks. I fired up my VPN and see US version has Hulu, ESPN but not Star. Couldn't check catalogue though so will take your word on content :). I see they also state over 100 titles available in 4K. So also not all their content. But yes, may sort itself out in time. Early days
 
Am I missing something. R119 per month is no cheaper and you can buy an annual packages cheaper?
Not that I have DSTV but there is no benefit other that if you have no real internet.

Just bought a subscription and the content looks pretty awesome. I would say there are few items missing from a quick browse.

yeah i think as i only really watch on weekends then this content will last a good year for me. Hehe. R1190 for that amount of content for a year compared to DSTV adverts and their shitty programming. Makes so much sense.
 
This coming from DStv is pretty neat. Nothing to right home about but my Stockholm syndrome will take it.

This is the question to be answered. My dstv free is only showing as 1 month and agent at call centre said it should roll fwd by another month … doesn’t look like you can stack the 950 but I would still keep the 3 months free and then go with regular annual offer (2 months free) for 5 months free in total
