There is of course also the Linksys WRT54G3G Billion also recently launched a 3G/ADSL (Bipac7300gx) router combo. Which might be cheaper.

I've got the Linksys router - not sure how much it costs - but very easy to set up. you should be able to get it at a vodashop or incredible connection.

I need the easiest way, (i cant follow instructions well)

Then the Linksys is a good bet. Just make sure the datacard you get is compatible.

Here is the last list is saw at the end of August.
Option 3G GT+ (HSDPA)
Novatel Merlin U740 (HSDPA)
Huawei E620 (HSDPA)
Huawei E630 (HSDPA)
Huawei E618 (HSDPA)
Option 3G Quad Card
Option 3G Data card
Option 3G Globe Trotter Fusion
Option 3G Globe Trotter Fusion 7.2Mbps
Novatel Merlin U630
Novatel U530 rev2
Novatel U530 rev3
Novatel V620 (EVDO)

If you want to spread the cost I have seen some ads where you can get this on a contract.

OKay, i was also thinking of the wireless router, so if i get the router, i have to get a datacard too?

Yes.

I think the Billion unit has a 3G device built in (not 100% sure). The plus is if its for ad-hoc use you can use the card when you are mobile. If it is permanent, you can look at something built-in.

If you are running Windows, you could just set up Internet Connection Sharing on the computer which has the data card.

Thats a no go... i have tried endlessly to acieve this, but to no avail... Ill get the router with the extra datacard, so i can use the datacard in my laptop when i am mobile. TY

I remember something with ICS that you must use the M$ assigned IP's (196.168.0.x), so if you're running your own IP range, it might explain it.

I prefer the 3G Router. Rock solid with port-mapping and other nice features. Also supports DynDNS.
