Your generalisation is poor. I studied a few days before each exam and still clocked a decent average. It depends entirely on the ability of the person and their capacity to learn.

Yeah it does, but with the extremely low pass rates (in particular for Math and Science) it's a far deeper problem than last year teaching. The majority of those kids who fail wouldn't pass if they were were being helped 24/7 by the best professors in the world.
