So anyway, with the joys of life changing. Quit smoking, not exercising, eating like a pig these days (so sad considering things were once going so well.)

To put it mildly I have probably gained at least 18kg's since Feb:(

My problem now is that I can not stop eating I am always hungary.

Any advice how I can lose this weight (and not feel constant hunger) and not look like a whale?

an hour of cardio per day and whatever you can manage of weight training (even just dumbell stuff) and cut out sugar, butter and bread. Start with that and you'll see results. Then, improve your overall eating plan and have smaller portions more times in a day. Should get you trim and feeling good.

Yea, replacing smoking with food is probably worse than smoking.

I was in exactly the same boat, so I switched to fruit and carrots for snax.

The only catch is that if I don't have my weight friendly snax around, then I want to eat other stuff, so, switching to weight friendly snax did not curb my need for food.

Then I simply one day stopped, for no reason that I can understand, wham, no more craving for food all the time.

Bizzare.

Thank you for all your advice. What is your view on using sweetners? Is it possible to have too much?

I agree 1000% it is terrible all one does is eat and eat etc. I like the idea of the friendly snaks, could work out quite nicely.

yeah, I'd stay away from sweeteners ....... I'm sure they're just as bad for you (but I'm not sure). Natural as much as possible is the way to go. Like for eg, everyday my breakfast is oats+dollop of yoghurt+squizzle of honey ..... lunch is a smoothie and/or dried fruit (sometimes with a slice or two of cheese and a few provita) and then dinner is something baked or grilled or steamed instead of fried and the portion is half of what it was.

Thank you, busy trying to compile a plan of action. Will post it here for you to look at. If you do not mind?

I can help you, fist I like to know how heavy are you, age and how tall.
How active are you, do you want to be active?
What do you eat every day, times, how much and when do you feel hungry.

Also I know this sounds weird but how many times do you go to the loo for a number 1 or 2.

Do you hate any types of foods? Have you check for allergies in foods?

How much water do you drink daily?

How fast do you want to lose it and how extreme do you want to go?

How do you feel in general and what times do you sleep?

I can certainly have a look ..... no problem.

Something to start out with for the next two weeks. (A jump start)

Starting from Thurdsay 21 May until Thursday 11 June.

Exercise

1 Hour of cardio everyday. On the week it is done at gym and on weekends it is from walking.

Not allowed to eat bread, samosas (spelling), no butter, no takeaways, etc.

3 Main Meal portions a day however 1/3 size of what they used to be.

3 Small meal portions a day, these meals may only contain uncooked fruit and/or veggies.

Then everything can be reassessed from 13 June.

Cut out all fizzy drinks - expecially Coke which has the most sugar. It worked for me :)

And swap bread and potatoes for salad and pasta and fruit...

I currently weigh 98KG
21 Years Old (Male)
1.68M in height.

Currently I have been very unactive. I do want to be active again. Heck I have a Virgin Active contract. Bear in mind per a day I can not spend more than 90 minutes at gym. As I do not have more time for it. Also note I have bad knees and always have to limit the amount of work done on my legs.

Generally I eat normal foods, pasta, rice meat etc. However recently I have been eating samosas, pizza, KFC, Mac D etc.

Every portion has been far too much, we talking at time 5/6 slices of bread a day.

Note I have been drinking more and more beer and wine. Almost everyday now. Anywhere from 2-3 beers to 3-4 glassess of wine per a day.

I generally feel hunger between 10am-12PM and then from 2PM-4PM

Toilet about 4 times a day for a number 1 and twice a day for a number 2.

I hate oats, olives and goats cheese.

No food allergies at all.

Per a day I drink about 4 glassess of water a day.

I want to lose at least the first 10kg as fast as possible and then slow it down from there. So then I can lost at a more healthy pace. Would love to lose as much as possible by 12 June and then as much by 25 August.

I would go as extreme as I need to to achieve my goals.

These days I sleep well, however been feeling more and more sluggish. Not to mention just constantly tired.

Dude i am not calling you a liar but i cannot believe it is physically possible to lose 30kgs in 2 months, impossible i would say. Please enlighten us as to how you dropped 15kgs a month.

When you feel like eating grab some fruit that is the only the answer i reckon because the quiting smoking is making you eat like crazy and obviously gym as much as possible. Orbitrek is very good if you want home training.

LMAO - you need good friends for that :D

@the sweeteners question... artificial sweeteners make you blind if you over do it. I agree with M_H, honey is a good substitute.

Good grief damn!

@Empiricism Philosopher

I have sent you a couple of PM's (Personal Messages). Really interested in what you have to say. 15kg A month seems almost impossible

So I heard, my mom is pretty up to date with the latest goings on in the food industry, but then again... it could be another bunch of products altogether... best to go and check...
