Hi guys,
Currently am on Mweb 2Mbit premium uncapped, have absolutely no issues, however I could apply for Afrihost 4Mbit bundle for relatively the same price.

Looking at the uncapped feedback forum, people are having issues obtaining acceptable speeds on their Afrihost accounts, could I get some feedback and advice on my next move here.
What sort of performance levels are we looking at with Afrihost 4Mbit consumer product?

Here is something to help with the decision somewhat.

With MWEB, you have to give a 1 MONTH calender notice in order to cancel right (like most other iSPs) but with Afrihost you can cancel before the 24th/25th and change to another provider if you wish so i say give them a try.

The most difficult thing for a person who is on the account to give you a good indication is to have had a problem free account for atleast 2months however if you have been following the threads, there has been numerous changes with Afrihost / Telkom Internet and infact WebAfrica where Afrihost upgraded their IPCs in CPTN / JHB and DBN (yay for me Durbs) so only once these went live did many of us have a good experience. With Webafrica, they moved over from their own network (besides hosting i think) onto the IS network and Ti upgraded its core network.

So ultimately you have to use it and decide for yourself even after reading some feedback. I hope this gives you a somewhat better idea in making your decision :).
