Mweb AUP sucks

Mweb is telling me that my 20meg uncap fibre line is going to get throttled soon but I only done 118.29 GB.
How can I be at 90% usage already

How much will they charge me if I give the finger to their 12 month contract.

It is a rolling window, not calendar month. I have a 4meg uncapped and only get throttled after 150 Gigs, which I haven't gotten to yet since they upped the limit. I have also gotten a call from there sales department saying I am going to be throttled soon, but they added my upload and download totals. The throttle is only applied to downloading.

I also don't think something is right with what they told you because a 20meg line will have a higher threshold than what I get (unless fibre has different thresholds)

Edit: my experience with isp contracts are that you are going to pretty much have to pay out close to the whole remaining contract. But that you will need to sort out with them

It suppose to have a higher threshold but Mweb does not like to tell you what it is.

They can have their crappy Zyxel Router back.Not using that hack piece of crap,they removed the ability to update the firmware.

We went directly with the 20meg premium account and also moved the line rental to them. Our experience has been very pleasing with minimal to no issues coming from MWEB, it is usually just Telkom taking too long or just not responding to problems. Now this package is extremely expensive when you compare it to fiber packages. For the same amount of money I could easily pay a 100 meg line form any provider. Wonder when these outrageous prices will drop!
