Why don't Mweb have capped unshaped accounts for home users?

I only need a 10gig unshaped account?

Hi Hummercellc

Have you tested our capped accounts to see if it suits your needs ?

Our capped accounts are shaped differently from our unshaped accounts.

Answer the question...

I would also like to know if Mweb have re-looked at the 4MB and 10MB uncapped shaped lines prices. Many of the ISP's has reduced there prices to well below what Mweb is current offering. Will there is a reduction in the near future?

We continue to review our pricing and product offerings.
If any changes are made we will certainly inform everyone.

I only need it for VoIP and nothing else, how would VoIP perform on the shaped accounts compared to unshaped?

I have tested VOIP using my shaped account and it works great, also note the VOIP is give a high priority on our network.

Many thanks, will try, but i still think Mweb need to look at capped unshaped accounts...

Also what about a no-ip service?

i.e. user.mwebaccess.co.za pointing to the dynamic IP of the DSL session?

This will help for remote access to my home camera's from my phone....

Just a thought.

Axxess do it and it works wonderfully
