My current situation: 4Mbps ADSL Uncapped with MWEB (Cannot use for gaming as router goes out of sync). Numerous technicians did house visits to solve the issue with no luck.
So I kept the ADSL for DSTV Explora and household Wifi and decided to get MWEB CellC Lte package with a B618 router for gaming. I mainly play PUBG and other FPS shooters. So the issue I am experiencing with the LTE on weekdays from 7pm - 10pm and weekends is that my in game ping fluctuates from 240ms to 1300ms. This makes FPS shooters unplayable and I would definitely not reccomend MWEB's CellC Lte for anyone who wishes to game.
Just to clarify I have spent numerous days on the phone testing and trying everything MWEB's technicians had in their troubleshooting handbooks until I got informed that MWEB can only log down/upload speed related issues and not ping fluctuation issues such as mine.
So I wish someone had done a post like this to inform me that I would be wasting my money. All I can do now is wait for fibre to be installed in my area FML.
