I need to re-install the game as I formatted it a little while ago. I think I played till about level 15 only but got a bit bored as they need a lot more content. Very promising game though with great graphics. I choose Genide.

Ok my black ops won't connect. just telling me connecting for about 10min then boom telling me I don't have internet when I do.
1. I phoned Telkom and my connection is fine
2. I tried rebooting router.
3. Rebooting pc
4. looks like my steam is also disconnecting alot.
BTW this is on my home account and not the business one
the message from black ops: The black ops servers is not available at this time please check www.callofduty.com/Blackops/status
I see and hear alot of people complaining even here http://www.facebook.com/MWEB about Black ops but no Will magic is happening on your side cause yours always works. post screenshots or any proof or I don't believe you

think mweb need route you though cpt node and other people that have problems, as i am cpt and i just tested black ops works fine.

This is an issue I have PM'd to Will a week ago, and still no reply. I also can not connect properly today, AGAIN. After minutes of waiting I eventually get to the menu, but there are ZERO servers ?!?!? Usually it will show thousands of servers in the counter, just not in the list... but a big fat ZERO today. My buddies on Afrihost are playing 100%. I will try my Afrihost account now!

On MWEB 4mb uncapped it takes 01:22 to get to the menu on my third attemps & Zero Servers
On AFRIHOST 4mb unshaped it takes 4 seconds to start up and 10 seconds in total to find all the servers....

Any news on when the latency issues are going to be fixed? Atm Age of Conan does not work at all on mweb. If you use wtfast then you can log in. Last week I asked games master for a wtfast account for my wife as well but did not get any response at all. So we are back to connecting to afrihost to play online. Im trying to be patient but by the end of the month if there has been no improvement I will have to leave mweb.
lol we thinking the same thing. Trying to play black ops clannie but to risky. Will have to go for another account. like I said using another account and silky smooth. I know my ping is 400 cause of telkom and mweb peering but omw at least I can play online

@Nelis ... its BS about your line being faulty, its a MWEB issue. As soon as they realize this the better.
BTW I'm in the Durbs area where are u ?
Infact I would like MWEB to refund me the costs of having to continually use Afrihost in order to play Black Ops.
PS Will ... I also have plenty of FRAPs recordings of the kuk we have to put up with.

1 Showing an incomplete server list
2 Massive lag spikes
3 Connection Interruptions & lag spikes
4 No Servers at all
5 Taking forever to login & no servers

No excuse, some thing is horribily wrong with the Mweb network. Your own hosted game is stuffed. Guy admit there is a major problem and you areworking on a fix or shut up shop because if Afrihost is kicking your arse then you have no hope :erm:

If you can drop me some detail on server ips and ports used I'll see what I can do.
Maybe we should compile a list of games and let the mweb people look at all of them. I mean every time I start playing something new mweb will have to adjust for them by request. So maybe a new thread with all the games listed along with ports etc. and when you start playing a new online game just add it to the list.
